Airbrush Tan Consent & Care Agreement

Thank you for choosing Blended and Bronzed. Please read each statement below carefully and sign before your appointment.

Sun Protection

An airbrush tan is purely cosmetic and does not protect your skin from the sun. Please continue to use sunscreen as you normally would.

Color Transfer & Staining

Tanning solution contains cosmetic bronzer that may transfer to clothing, bedding, and furniture. In most cases the color washes out, with the exception of silk. Silk, lycra, spandex, nylon, wool, and leather are especially prone to staining. Blended and Bronzed is not responsible for stains to clothing or upholstery during or after your appointment, so we recommend wearing dark, loose-fitting clothing.

Allergies & Health Considerations

• If you have allergies to sunless tanning products containing DHA, please consult your physician before your appointment. Allergic reactions, such as a minor skin rash, are extremely rare and can usually be relieved with a simple shower.

• If you have never used a sunless tanning product, a patch test is recommended 24 hours before your full-body application.

• If you have a history of asthma or any other respiratory or medical condition that could be aggravated by airbrush solution, please consult your physician before proceeding.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, please consult your physician before using any sunless tanning product.

Please note that hormone levels, including those during pregnancy and menopause, can affect how well your tan develops and adheres.

Aftercare

Following the written and verbal aftercare instructions from your technician is essential to getting beautiful, lasting results. Failure to do so may affect the outcome of your tan. Please plan to moisturize daily and avoid the following until your tan has fully developed:

• Salon appointments, exercise, and anything that causes perspiration

• Swimming, hand washing, and premature bathing

• Pet kisses and breastfeeding

• Sitting on upholstery with bare legs for long periods

• Tight clothing

• Exposure to rain or snow without protection

To extend the life of your tan, avoid long hot showers, chlorine, salt water, and shaving, and keep your skin well hydrated. The duration of your tan depends on many factors, including skin condition, natural exfoliation rate, and lifestyle.

Attire

Clients may wear as much or as little as they are comfortable with. Male clients are required to wear boxers or briefs.

Safety & Studio Environment

For safety reasons, children and pets may not be present in the tanning area during your appointment. Any damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this policy will be the responsibility of the client.

Your Appointment

• During your session, your technician may lightly touch you to position you for even application or to remove excess product. You will be told before any contact occurs.

• Your technician is trained to deliver a smooth, even tan. Due to natural variations in skin and session conditions, you may occasionally notice areas that appear slightly lighter or darker than others. These differences are typically minor and fade after your first shower.

• Blended and Bronzed is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. After the first late cancellation, a $10 fee will apply. No-shows will be charged the full price of the tan at your next appointment, and repeat no-shows may no longer be eligible to book with Blended and Bronzed.

Acknowledgment

I have read and understand the statements above and agree to hold Blended and Bronzed harmless from any and all claims. I understand that results vary and that no specific result is guaranteed or implied.
